Microsoft, Google and Yahoo to shell out $31.5 million to settle gambling promotion claims

Internet’s big Three Microsoft, Google and Yahoo have agreed to settle claims that they promoted gambling by accepting money from advertisers by paying a collective $31.5 million. None of the companies admitted liability, but agreed to pay up, according to a statement issued by the U.S. attorney in St. Louis.
